iTunes 10.5: [Mac OS X l Windows x86/x64] l iOS5 [iPad 1G l iPad 2 (Wifi/GSM/CDMA) l iPhone 3GS l iPhone 4 (GSM/CDMA) l iPod Touch (3G/4G)[/i]]

Instructions:
1. Download and install iTunes 10.5 Beta
2. Ask a developer (including myself) to activate your iDevice by registering its UDID
How to get UDID from iTunes
Let's say you have been invited to be a beta tester for a new iPhone application and the developer asks you for your UDID.

You have no idea what UDID is, and if you are smart you are not going to ask the developer about it. (If you do, expect to get kicked out of the beta testing program immediately).

Here's how you get your UDID:

Note: UDID stands for Unique Device Identifier

2.1. Connect your iPhone to iTunes and click on your iPhone under devices

2.2. In the device information screen you can see the following: Name, Capacity, Software Version, Serial Number, Phone Number.

Try clicking on on other parameter names for things like: IMEI, Build Version, ICCID.

2.3. OK, you are ready to copy your Identifier (UDID).
Left Mouse Click on the number and hold it, press CTRL-C on your keyboard, and you are done.

3. Download and install iOS 5 Beta (simply shift-click windows/option-click mac on the restore button)
4. Have fun with iCloud and everything else!
Try clicking on on other parameter names for things like: IMEI, Build Version, ICCID.
